Assets, clients both increase through first half of 2020; firm continues to build out its capabilities across the asset management spectrum Rafael Zayas recently promoted to Senior Vice President of VIA
ATLANTA, (August 17, 2020) â Vident Assessment Management (VIA), a subsidiary of Vident Financial LLC, today announced that Ryan Dofflemeyer has joined the firm as Senior Portfolio Manager. In this new role, he will specialize in the managing and trading of global equity and multi-asset portfolios.
Mr. Dofflemeyer has more than 16 years of trading and portfolio management experience across a number of asset classes, including mutual funds and ETFs. Before joining VIA, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager with ProShares, where he was responsible for overseeing more than $3 billion in ETF assets across global equities, commodities, and volatility strategies. Prior to that, he was a Research Analyst at the Investment Company Institute (ICI) in Washington, D.C. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Rafael Zayas Promoted to Senior Vice President
VIA also remains committed to promoting from within, and today announced that Rafael Zayas has been elevated to Senior Vice President of VIA. Mr. Zayas will be responsible for leading portfolio management and trading.
Mr. Zayas joined VIA in 2017 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Previously he was a Portfolio Manager at Russell Investments overseeing over $5 billion in quantitative strategies across global markets, including emerging, developed and frontier markets and listed alternatives.
Strong Growth Across Platform; New Capabilities Draw Private Fund Clients
VIA also noted that since the start of 2020, the firm has been able to drive a nearly 10 percent increase in the number of clients on its platform, as well as a 16 percent increase in firm AUM, crossing $5.3 billion as of July 31.
VIA has also expanded its sub-advisory portfolio management and trading services to offer its best-in-class capabilities to sponsors of private funds, including the firmâs newest client, New Age Alpha LLC.
