Adam Longenecker

Director of Quantitative Research

Mr. Longenecker has ten years of experience building indices, quantitative analytics, and data products for the asset management industry. He currently serves as Director of Quantitative Research for Vident Financial where he oversees research and operations of the Vident indices. Previously, he founded Caretta Data where he pioneered holdings-centric analytics designed to help firms generate alpha and manage risk. Adam also served as Director of Quantitative Research at EPFR Global, where he oversaw the development of research and asset allocation strategies. Before joining EPFR, Adam founded AHL Investment Resources, which specialized in bespoke investment research for the hedge fund, pension fund, and insurance industry. Prior to founding AHL, Adam was a DCM analyst at Deutsche Bank. He graduated from Centre College with a degree in History and International Relations and has a Master’s in Finance from the University of Florida.
