Steve Oh brings over 25 years of ETF industry experience to Vident. Prior to joining Vident, he worked for Vanguard as an ETF Platform Specialist, where he led the team responsible for building out Vanguard’s “Next Generation” platform increasing scale and efficiency in the end-to-end management of Vanguard ETFs. Before Vanguard, Mr. Oh served four years as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) where he covered rulemaking and led examinations focused on exchange-listed derivatives, artificial intelligence, crypto, and market structure. Mr. Oh also served as Head of ETFs at Nasdaq where he revamped Nasdaq’s ETF listings and trading platform, transforming it into one of the company’s fastest growing and impactful business lines. He also spent over a decade in trading, helping companies such as Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and LaBranche & Co navigate the move into electronic trading. Mr. Oh earned both his Bachelor’s in Economics and Linguistics and his Master’s in International Finance & Business and Applied Linguistics from Columbia University.
